Today, I will share two words and use root affixes to memorize them.

1, controversial

adj. The root of the argument, the same as pvers-

. Means "turn, reverse"

affix:

contro-:=against, means "against, opposite".

-ial: Same as -al, which means adjective, "...的", generally used after nouns.

contro-+-ver+-ial=opposite+turn→About a question, two people have opposite opinions.

2, susceptible

United States [səˈseptəbl]

adj. Easily affected and emotional

affix:

sus-: same as sub-, = under, below, below, the next level.

-ible: Said adjective, "can...".

sus-+-cept+-ible=below+accept→accepted deep in my heart, moved emotionally.
