PhD students of our school won the first prize in the first "Torch Cup" Youth Entrepreneurship Competition in Zibo High-tech Zone
September 11-12, the finals of the first "Torch Cup" Youth Entrepreneurship Competition hosted by Zibo High-tech Zone Held in Zibo High-tech Zone. The "Medical Ultrasonic Sensor Localization" project completed by the doctoral student Liu Tong and his team under the guidance of Professor Huang Shifeng from the Key Laboratory of Building Materials Preparation and Testing Technology of our school won the first prize in the competition and won a prize of 300,000 yuan.
This competition is hosted by the Organization and Personnel Department of Zibo High-tech Zone, and co-organized by Zibo High-tech Zone Science and Technology Industry and Information Technology Bureau, Investment Promotion Service Center, Publicity News Center, and Human Resources and Social Security Center. A total of participating projects and corporate teams from all over the country have been received After being reviewed by experts, the 24 entrepreneurial teams that finally entered the finals conducted a fierce and exciting road show around the "3+2" leading industries of new materials, biomedicine, artificial intelligence, financial technology, and high-end logistics. In the end, 2 first prizes, 4 second prizes, and 6 third prizes were decided.
Ultrasound imaging technology is one of the four modern medical imaging technologies. It has the advantages of real-time imaging, repeatability, non-invasiveness, convenient carrying, simple operation and low price. Ultrasonic sensors are the core components of the ultrasound imaging system and require extremely high processing technology. At present, domestic related components are all imported, with long procurement cycles and inconvenient maintenance, which are problems facing my country's medical ultrasound sensor industry. This project is based on the research of common technologies of medical imaging sensors, and effectively combines local terminal application resources to conduct research and development on ultrasound sensors and imaging systems.
