Wu Yaoming studied geography education at university, and his research career planning education undoubtedly starts from 0. At that time, from Hunan Province to the whole country, there was almost a blank study on the career planning education of middle school students. After learning from many sources, Wu Yaoming noticed that Northeast Normal University has a Youth Career Development Research Center, which has a certain foundation for students' career planning education research. Therefore, Wu Yaoming went there many times to conduct research and study and seek cooperation. Not only did he go to learn from the scriptures by himself, he also took other teachers to go with him. He would go wherever the lectures in relevant fields were held.
At this time, Wu Yaoming, who was diagnosed with uremia , had just undergone a kidney transplant and was very weak. "For others, it is common to me, and I may get sick and be hospitalized, so I will be worried about going to North to study, but for the sake of team and teaching, I still choose to go." Looking back at the preparation process at that time, Wu Yaoming still remembers it fresh.
In addition to seeking guidance from experts, Wu Yaoming also continues to conduct in-depth research on himself. When his health improved slightly, Wu Yaoming searched for related books from bookstores and the Internet, and he carefully read related books from China to overseas. Wu Yaoming said: "The more I learn, the more I am interested in career planning, and the more I learn, I find the meaning of studying this course."
In 2014, the first grade of Changsha County High School gave the course "career planning". After dialysis and organ transplantation, Wu Yaoming has to take medicine twice a day to maintain his body's balance, and he is always burning himself and devotes himself to teaching. When he was the director of moral education, he systematically compiled student codes and norms to create the style of a student in "No. 1 Middle School". When he was the director of the Student Development Guidance Center, he was meticulous and studied mental health education and career planning in depth, paying attention to every bit of student growth.
Wu Yaoming said that this is because he has always had the ideal of "not being a teacher, but becoming an educator." This year, the project Wu Yaoming and his team studied together won the provincial and municipal basic education teaching achievement award. After four years of this project, Wu Yaoming and his team built, explored and practiced, and finally formed an overall high school student career planning education system.
