I used to be an English tutor to Tan Hao, the eldest son of Teacher Tan. Tan Hao is now a doctoral supervisor at Hunan University . I once took Teacher Tan’s second son Tan Xi to learn skills in the factory, and Tan Xi is now the chairman of a company in Changsha. Teacher Tan’s wife Zuo Li is a descendant of Zuo Zongtang and is a math teacher at Zhou Nan Women’s Middle School. In 1998, I met Teacher Tan for the last time in Changsha. In the 2005 Spring Festival, I called to pay New Year's greetings to the teacher, but I couldn't hear Teacher Tan's voice!
