What is PBL (project-based learning)?
PBL is to carry out teaching and learning activities by doing projects. The purpose is to enable learners to use the knowledge and skills they have learned to cooperate, explore, try to solve problems, and complete project products based on real problems in the real world.

Under the new curriculum standards, the project learning method will comprehensively use knowledge and methods to solve problems and develop core literacy. Actively carrying out comprehensive teaching activities such as subjective and project-based learning can strengthen the internal connection between knowledge, promote knowledge structure, and give full play to the educational value of teaching activities in many aspects.
PBL
Affiliated primary school of education and science is committed to integrating students' development skills into knowledge learning. On the basis of ensuring subject knowledge, it cultivates students' problem solving, metacognition, critical thinking, communication and cooperation abilities. Teachers are based on subject classroom teaching and develop small teaching tasks based on subject curriculum standards, so that students can learn knowledge, improve their abilities and cultivate their literacy in the process of completing tasks.
Recently, the Sichuan Hehui Famous Teachers Studio "Project-based Learning Teaching Design Practical Workshop Training Activity" was held at the Chonghe Campus of the Affiliated Primary School of the Provincial Academy of Education and Science.
Beijing Normal University Professor Sang Guoyuan, Professor Huang Jiali of Beijing Normal University, expert of the Beijing Normal University project study research group Luo Ying, leader of Sichuan He Hui Famous Teacher Studio, Vice Dean of the School of Educational Sciences, Jinjiang District, Chengdu City, and 90 members and students of the Famous Teacher Studio participated in the two-day training activity by combining online and offline methods.

November 10th, the "Project-based Learning Teaching Design Practical Workshop Training Activity" kicked off with the welcome speech of Vice President Tang Zhiguo. On behalf of all the teachers and students of the Affiliated Primary School of the Provincial Academy of Education and Science, he warmly welcomed the arrival of all experts and educational colleagues. Deputy Dean He Hui, the leader of the studio, introduced the expert team and training courses, and put forward training requirements for members and students.
Our school teachers Ye Xiaohuan, Li Chenji, Zhao Haining, and other offline members and students completed the training task with the driving question of "how to design high-quality project learning activities" and using the project learning method of "learning PBL with PBL".

Each group starts and takes hands-on operation on the basis of clarifying the core driving problems and formulates a draft project design, including seven steps: raising questions, forming a team, project launch, knowledge preparation, problem solving and output results, achievement display, and review.
At the same time, each group cooperated to complete the project-based learning plan. Teacher Ye Xiaohuan worked together to respond to the proposal of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal - "Good Health and Well-being", selected the theme of " Nutritional Lunch " and carried out the project design with "How to design a weekly nutritious lunch recipe?"; in the design, the teachers further refined and decomposed the core issues and proposed corresponding product output designs for the four sub-questions. Finally, it is planned to display the results in the form of a "Recipe Gallery" exhibition and a "Best Recipe" press conference.
Teacher Li Chenji's group has gone through the seven major steps of project-based learning , and better understand the development of the project through experience. The team members worked together to form a project plan for the "Children's Heart Helps the CD Action". Through project polishing, group members can better understand the importance of project-based learning in students' subject thinking and interdisciplinary knowledge application ability.

Finally, Dean He Hui summarized the two-day training activities, hoping that teachers can apply the relevant knowledge learned from project-based learning to practical teaching, constantly make breakthroughs, and constantly create. He also hopes that everyone can play the role of seed teachers in the local area with what they have learned and thoughts, and play a vanguard role in cultivating students' core literacy.
