On September 25, the Intelligent Manufacturing College of Shandong Business Vocational College held a popular science lecture for youth and community volunteer service activities for small appliance repair in Beiyuan Square, the school’s family district. At the event site of the
, students from the Learning Association of the School of Intelligent Manufacturing not only answered the questions asked by residents professionally, but also promoted the use of home appliances and maintenance knowledge to residents. During the event, residents brought home appliances such as hair dryers, rice cookers, and sweeping robots that had faults at home to repair. The students from the learning association showed their abilities and patiently checked the electrical faults and repaired them one by one. During the
activity, Lin Tao from the Learning Association held a popular science lecture for young people on the spot. The lecture was based on the application of industrial products, combined with the scientific phenomena of life, and designed corresponding interesting experiments. The children participating in the activity followed Lin Tao's lecture rhythm and independently made small induction fans. The
event site also showed various handicrafts made by students from the School of Intelligent Manufacturing through 3D printing and other equipment. Zhou Yujing, a student from
21 CNC Class 3, said: "Volunteer service is a bridge and link for college students to transition from campus to society. Every time they participate in volunteer service activities, they will have new feelings, especially after helping uncles and aunts solve problems, they hear the 'thank you', and that sense of accomplishment is unparalleled."
