1, Project Introduction
The new generation of information technology represented by the Internet, big data, artificial intelligence , etc. is developing rapidly, promoting human beings to gradually enter an intelligent society. While creating a new engine of economic development, it also brings a series of challenges to the legal norms, moral ethics, public governance, etc. of human society. In order to fully implement the important decisions and deployments of the Party Central Committee, with the support of relevant ministries and commissions, the School of Public Administration of Tsinghua University, combined with its own talent training advantages, has specially established a graduate training program for intelligent social governance by master's degree in public administration (MPA dual certificate). Focusing on the major governance problems faced in the intelligent transformation of human society, experimentalist governance as the core theoretical paradigm, and social experiments as the main technical means, we will give full play to the advantages of my country's rich artificial intelligence application scenarios, systematically study the governance methods, governance methods and governance tools of intelligent society, and cultivate compound talents in intelligent social governance with professional and technical capabilities, organizational leadership and public value concepts.

4. Special courses
Relying on the platform support of the School of Public Administration of Tsinghua University, the direction of intelligent social governance is on the existing MPA training system. Famous domestic scholars and experts have been invited to set up special courses such as "Public Science and Technology Policy" (speaker Professor Professor Su Jun , Associate Researcher Ru Peng and Assistant Researcher Xie Qijun), "Digital Age and Public Governance" (speaker Professor Jiang Xiaojuan), "Social Experiment, Computing and Intelligent Social Governance" (speaker Professor Luo Jiade, Professor Peng Kaiping, etc.) and "Governance, Regulation and Intelligent Society" (speaker Professor Zhao Shuguang , Associate Researcher Liu Yunhui, Assistant Professor Zhang Fang, etc.). This direction will also use the wide application scenarios of artificial intelligence in my country to organize students to conduct case studies and practical research, closely combine theoretical teaching with research practice, help students improve their cognitive level of intelligent society, master systematic knowledge of intelligent social governance, improve their theoretical and practical level of controlling intelligent social governance, and cultivate a team of high-quality talents with both value rationality and instrumental rationality for my country's intelligent social governance.
5. Learning method
Class location is Tsinghua University .
Learning period: 2.5-4 years, the learning methods include the following two types, and students can choose according to the situation.
1. Segmented classes: that is, one concentrated every semester, each study is about 6 weeks. The course study has a total of 4 semesters.
2. Night and weekend classes: course study for 4 semesters in total.
6. Tuition and Scholarship
Tsinghua University Master of Public Administration (MPA) tuition fee is RMB 99,000. The fees can be paid in one time when registration is registered in the first academic year; or half each will be paid in two batches when reporting in the first and second academic years.
The School of Public Administration has established MPA freshman scholarships and scholarships.
7. Certificate award
In accordance with the relevant regulations on academic record management and degree awarding of Tsinghua University, complete the contents of the training plan, pass the thesis defense, and pass the degree committee review and approval, Tsinghua University's Master of Public Administration (MPA) graduation certificate and degree certificate.
