Introduction to Qingdao University of Science and Technology
Qingdao University of Science and Technology was founded in 1950 and has been through Qingdao Rubber Industry School, Shandong Institute of Chemical Engineering, and Qingdao Institute of Chemical Engineering. In 1998, it was transferred from the Ministry of Chemical Industry to Shandong Province. In 2001, it was merged into Shandong Province and was renamed Qingdao University of Science and Technology in 2002. In August 2002, the Laoshan Campus was put into use, in 2009, the Gaomi campus was put into use, in 2016, the entire Shandong Chemical Research Institute was incorporated, and in 2019, the Sino-German International Cooperation Zone (Sino-German Campus) was put into use, and the development of the school continued to write a new chapter.

Advantage disciplines and majors
