Yuechi County Xiangfeng School held a poem recitation competition for "Celebrating the 73rd Years of the Birthday, and Welcome the 20th National Congress of the Prosperity"
In order to welcome the arrival of the 73rd anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China and the victory of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, further implement patriotic education , while prospering campus culture and showing the style of Xiangfeng students, on September 29, 2022, the Party General Branch of Xiangfeng School in Yuechi County, Moral Education Department , and the Junior High School Chinese Group jointly held a patriotic poem recitation competition with the theme of "Celebrating the 73rd Years of the Birthday, and Welcome the 20th National Congress of the Prosperity". After the majestic national anthem, the host Mr. Hu Yang introduced the leaders and judges participating in the competition. Deputy Secretary Chen Bin of the Party General Branch of Xiangfeng School in Yuechi County delivered a warm speech. Secretary Chen pointed out that the students were born under the red flag, grew up in the spring breeze, and studied in the spacious and bright classroom. This was all obtained by the Communist Party of China leading the revolutionary martyrs to sacrifice their lives and shed their blood. Today, we held a patriotic poetry recitation competition to inherit the red genes, continue the red bloodline, and allow the red culture to be passed on from generation to generation!
Ms. He Ling, on behalf of the parents of more than 4,000 students of Xiangfeng School, encourages the children that the country's economy has developed rapidly, making our lives richer and the country's military strength has become stronger. Therefore, today we praise the motherland with poetry, love our great motherland with a innocent heart, and work hard for the prosperity of the motherland!
With the end of the host's "Next to invite the No. 1 contestant to the stage", the competition officially kicked off. Both the shy boys and the shy girls changed the same on the stage. The children used poetry to express their motherland's mother's pride in washing away historical humiliation, and used poetry to express their love for the motherland that carries the footsteps of history and their pride for the red gene. These poems include both modern and contemporary poets’ praise for the motherland, as well as the hard work of classmates and teachers. At the end of the
event, Liu Jianfeng, secretary of the Party Branch and principal of Xiangfeng School in Yuechi County, concluded that as the National Day arrives and the 20th National Congress is about to be held, our school organizes students to hold a recitation activity with patriotism as the theme. In today's event, Xiangfeng students showed their own style, and also received patriotic education, enhancing national self-confidence and national pride. Principal Liu even wrote a poem on the spot:
