htmlOn September 24, the Jintan District Natural Resources and Planning Bureau organized an expert review meeting on the "Changzhou Jintan District Land Space Ecological Protection and Restoration Plan (2021-2035)" (hereinafter referred to as the "Plan"). The meeting invited experts from Nanjing Agricultural University, Nanjing University, Nanjing Institute of Geography and Lakes, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Provincial Department of Natural Resources, and Changzhou Municipal Bureau to form an evaluation expert group. The meeting was chaired by Zhu Liang, Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of Jintan District Bureau, and relevant personnel attended by Ye Lin, Deputy Mayor of Jintan District, Chen Yan, Deputy Director of Changzhou Municipal Bureau, Gao Guoqing, Deputy Director of Jintan District Bureau. The experts at the meeting listened to the planning work report, reviewed the planning text, pictures and other results. After inquiry and discussion, the expert group believed that the results of the "Plan" were investigated fully, and the natural resources and ecological background of Jintan District were founded. On the basis of accurately diagnosing typical ecological problems, the overall pattern of ecological protection and restoration was constructed, the planning indicators were clarified, the protection and restoration zones were demarcated, the key areas for ecological protection and restoration were determined, major projects were deployed, the goals and tasks were clear, the content was comprehensive, and the results were complete, and they were in line with relevant national and provincial plans and policy requirements. It will play a good leading role in the ecological protection and restoration work in Jintan District in the future period. The expert group unanimously agreed that the "Plan" passed the review. In the next step, the "Plan" will be further revised and improved based on the opinions put forward by the experts at the meeting to ensure the scientificity, forward-looking and operable nature of the planning, and submitted for approval according to procedures.
As the first special plan in Jiangsu Province to pass expert argumentation, Jintan will comprehensively sort out, scientifically summarize and in-depth summary, and strive to form good experiences and practices with demonstration value and reference significance, and replicate and promote them in Jiangsu Province.
