In order to welcome the successful convening of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, inherit the red gene, carry forward the spirit of patriotism, and create a strong atmosphere of reading for the whole people, on the morning of September 23, Shangba Village, Longtan Street launched the book-flavored reading activity of "Welcome the Twenty National Congress and Continue the Red Spirit". Through reading sharing and exchanges, students and children can remember history, keep their original aspirations, and strengthen their ideals and beliefs through reading and sharing. At the
event site, the volunteer teachers told the touching stories of revolutionary heroes such as "Dong Cunrui" and "Liu Hulan", and led the children to feel the patriotic enthusiasm of the revolutionary ancestors, the courage to overcome difficulties, and the broad mind of the family, country and the world, and expressed their ambition to learn from heroes and serve the motherland. Afterwards, the children were invited to share their role models, among which the children mentioned the glorious deeds of "Zhang Guimei" and "Yuan Longping". They all took the initiative to speak, discuss their understanding of role models, and expressed their willingness to actively learn from role models the spirit of hard work and selfless dedication. The scene was very lively for a while. Then, the reading and book gift activity began. The civilized volunteers in the new era talked about the meaning and fun of reading to knowledge such as "caring for minors" and "copyright protection" and led the children to read for half an hour, which triggered the children to have a deeper understanding of reading. We call on children to love reading and read more, so that the fragrance of books can soak their families and let their lives fill.
This event is themed "Continuing the Red Spirit".
