Tower crane should press Regulations require repeated grounding and lightning protection grounding. The setting of the grounding device of the track-mounted tower crane should meet the following requirements:
(1) A set of grounding devices are provided at both ends of the track.
(2) The joint of the track is made with electrical connection with , and the ends of the two tracks are made with annular electrical connection.
(3) For longer tracks, add a set of grounding devices every no more than 30m.
The safe distance between the tower crane and external power lines should meet the requirements, and the cables of the orbital tower crane must not be dragged on the ground.
Tower cranes that need to work at night should be equipped with floodlights facing the working surface.
Tower cranes with a tower height higher than 30m should be equipped with red signal lights on the top of the tower and the end of the boom.
Emergency stop switches should be installed inside and outside the elevator cage for external use. Limit switches should be set at the upper and lower limit positions of the
external elevator and material hoist .
External elevators and material hoists must be inspected without load
before daily work on the travel switch , limit switch, emergency stop switch, drive mechanism and brake. They can be used only after they are normal. Fall prevention measures must be taken during inspections.
