On the afternoon of June 30, 2022, Gongdao Junior High School held a summary meeting of Safety Month activities attended by all faculty and staff. The meeting was chaired by Vice Principal Pan Xiaojun, who is in charge of school safety work.
Principal Liu Qing summarized the June Safety Month work: According to the deployment requirements of the Education Bureau, the school established a safety month activity leading group, formulated a work plan and implemented it according to the plan. In June, the school organized a school-wide safety inspection and compiled a list of school safety hazards. Major hazards were rectified within a time limit. Difficulties were reported to the Education Bureau in a timely manner and received strong support from the leaders of the Education Bureau. We will do our best to solve them during the summer maintenance. There are hidden dangers of falling off tiles on the facade of the teaching building and leaking water in the bungalow.
Principal Liu Qing emphasized the role of schools as the main front for safety education and publicity. All faculty and staff have the obligation to participate in school safety management and supervision, especially the work of class teachers, which must integrate drowning prevention education, traffic safety education, and fire prevention and avoidance drills. We must work tirelessly and "educate every month, emphasize every week, and remind every day" to form safety education habits.
Vice President Pan arranged the end-of-semester work of the school and once again emphasized the requirements for campus safety work, and all departments must do a good job in implementing safety inspections.
After the meeting, a brief oath-taking ceremony was held to post safety responsibility notice boards, attended by members of the principal's office and heads of relevant departments.
