On July 16, Zhaoqing Education Bureau, Zhaoqing Fire Rescue Detachment, and Nanfang Daily launched a live broadcast of "Explaining Safety Knowledge and Protecting Summer Safety" on the Nanfang+ client, and an online fire safety education class for children in the city.

During the live broadcast, professionals from Zhaoqing Fire Rescue Detachment will help young people sort out and accumulate experience in safe life based on specific life cases, and effectively improve children's awareness of safety and self-protection through practical interactions such as fire prevention and drowning prevention. The city's primary and secondary school students are safe and escorted in summer.

Summer child safety education is related to thousands of families. Before the online safety education class was held, Zhaoqing Education Bureau had invited Zhaoqing Water Rescue Team and Dinghu District Water Rescue Association to hold drowning prevention publicity and training activities in many schools in Zhaoqing from July 2 to 9. During the activity, the staff of the rescue team carried out theoretical knowledge presentations and skills experience, so that the students could understand the knowledge of drowning prevention, and through the experience, they could understand the correct survival methods, and further enhance the students' awareness of prevention and the ability of self-rescue and mutual rescue. It is understood that the above activities have been held for a total of 20 sessions, involving about 11,000 students.
