On October 23, NIO officially responded to battery swap-related issues that users are more concerned about, and said that "when the battery swap station charges the battery with full load, the radiation amount is less than one-tenth of the radiation emitted by a mobile phone."
NIO officially stated that the shell of the battery swap station uses aluminum alloy plates with stronger anti-penetration barrier capabilities, which can absorb and shield more than 98% of the electromagnetic radiation . Therefore, when the battery swap station charges the battery with full load, the electromagnetic radiation power transmitted by these batteries to the outside is extremely low, even less than one-tenth of the radiation emitted by a mobile phone.
In fact, no matter whether it is a mobile phone or a battery swap station, everyone does not have to worry about radiation. The electronic products we usually use will have radiation to a greater or lesser extent, but they are definitely harmless to the human body and will not cause cancer. After all, civilian products must comply with national regulations or internationally universal industry norms.
