According to 9to5Mac, Apple will release new products for iPad Pro 2022 and iPad 10 this month.
9to5Mac revealed that iPad Pro 2022 has two models: 11-inch and 12.9-inch models, of which the 11-inch version uses an LCD screen, while the 12.9-inch version uses a mini LED screen. Both of these models will be equipped with Apple M2 chips. Apple M2 is manufactured based on the improved TSMC second-generation 5nm process (M1 uses TSMC's first-generation 5nm process), and the number of transistors installed has increased by 25%, from 16 billion to 20 billion.
Its CPU core is designed with 8 cores, consisting of 4 high-speed cores + 4 high-efficiency cores, and M2 adds 2 GPU cores compared to M1.
In addition, Neural Engine's performance has also been improved from 11TOPS to 15.8TOPS. The memory interface has been amplified in many aspects, such as accelerating from LPDDR4X to LPDDR5, making it a veritable M2 processor.
revealed that the iPad Pro 2022 engineering machine has a glass version. Apple intends to add wireless charging and reverse wireless charging to iPad Pro, but it is not yet certain whether the mass-produced version will be implemented. The new
product debuted this month, but rumors claimed that Apple will not hold a new product launch conference and will be launched directly on the shelves.
