Bose has released the new smart soundbar600 equipped with Dolby Atmos and proprietary Bose TrueSpace technology, providing convincing immersive audio in its small size to meet consumer expectations.
The new Bose smart soundbar 600 has full streaming control built in Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and Chromecasttml2, and has Google Assistant feature and built-in Amazon Alexa voice control. Bose has all added new Voice for Video technology, which when used with Alexa, can turn on the TV, switch inputs and tune to any favorite channel with just one command, while Bose SimpleSync allows users to pair soundbars with compatible Bose headphones or Bluetooth speakers to further expand the listening experience.
"When the sound really draws you, it can take you from watching TV and movies to something completely immersed in the screen. The smart Soundbar 600 is the ideal solution for those who want to feel surrounded by sound but don't have much room to put devices on," said Raza Haider, Bose Chief Product Officer.
When Dolby Atmos content is available, precisely tuned Bose digital signal processing and Atmos decoding are combined with 600's five-channel speaker driver to give consumers an immersive experience.
Two side-sounding runway horns work together to project the audio horizontally into the room, a central tweeter delivers crystal clear dialogue, and the two upward horns not only help with the horizontal soundscape, but also reflect the sound on the ceiling, making it appear as if it was coming from the top of the head.
When users don't watch Dolby ATMOS content, they can still experience immersive audio with the support of the same five channels speaker driver. Thanks to Bose TrueSpace technology, the technology can intelligently analyze input signals, and when stereo or 5.1 format is detected, the soundbar mixes the audio to produce equally effective sound and similarly spaciousness. For TV and music listening, the built-in Bose QuietPort technology adds deep bass performance.
Another basic aspect of the new Bose Soundbar 600 design is the simplicity of its setup and control interface. Users only need to connect one cable - HDMI eARC or optical cable - from soundbar to TV.
Soundbar 600 provides Wi-Fi music streaming, built-in Chromecast, Spotify Connect or Apple AirPlay 2, and can also support Bluetooth connectivity.
The new Soundbar 600 can be extended with other Bose products.
