When we are doing monitoring system construction or maintenance, we often encounter the problem of abnormal alarms from recorder . For example, problems such as hard disk errors, IP address conflicts, etc. (The operation interface takes Hikang operating system as an example)
1. The recorder uses
1. The recorder does not install the hard disk, causing an alarm
. If you do not plan to install the hard disk, you can enter the main menu - System Configuration - Exception Configuration - Exception type, select the exception type as hard disk error, and cancel the corresponding sound warning. Click Apply. (If the recorder does not recognize the hard disk, an alarm will be generated)
System Settings-Exception configuration
2. The hard disk is not initialized causing an alarm
Enter the main menu - Hard disk management - basic configuration, select the hard disk for initialization operation.
Hard disk management
2. The video recorder has been used for a while
1. The abnormality of the hard disk causes an alarm
Enter the main menu - Hard disk management - basic configuration to check whether the status of the hard disk is normal. If it is not recognized or abnormal, it means that the hard disk is currently in fault.
is recommended to re-plug and unplug the hard disk in shutdown state, detect whether the hard disk has bad channels in system maintenance-hard disk detection-bad channel detection, or replace other monitoring-level hard disks for testing
2. An exception event causes an alarm
into the system configuration-exception configuration-exception type, and check each option of the exception type, and cancel the corresponding sound warning, click Apply. Remove which type of recorder will no longer call the alarm, which means that it is the alarm caused by the reason, and then deal with the corresponding treatment for the cause. (If you are in a hurry to turn off the sound, you can change the exception type to all types, then tick the sound warning and apply it, and then cancel the tick to apply it)
3. Set the alarm caused by event detection
Enter channel management - Move detection/occlusion alarm/alarm input to see if these functions are enabled. If enabled, the corresponding sound warning in the processing mode can be cancelled. In other words, some alarms are caused by the corresponding alarm function. Taking motion detection as an example, you can check whether the sound warning is ticked in the channel management-move detection-processing method.
If the problem cannot be located according to the above troubleshooting, you can enter the system maintenance-log information-log search, select the time period for the recorder to alarm and search the log through the log to see what causes the alarm.
