IT House learned that, ThinkPad X1 Fold Gen 2 is equipped with the 9W model of the 12 generation Core U series, with up to 32GB of LPDDR5 memory and 1TB SSD. In terms of
screen, ThinkPad X1 Fold Gen 2 is equipped with an 16.3-inch OLED screen with a ratio of about 4:3, a resolution of 2,560 x 2,024, SDR brightness of 400 nits, HDR brightness of 600 nits, and 100% DCI -P3 color gamut, screen border is only 8mm. After attaching the keyboard to the lower half of the screen, it can transform into a 12-inch regular laptop.
In other aspects, the new generation ThinkPad X1 Fold comes standard with a 48 Wh battery and is equipped with a 65 W power adapter . has two Thunderbolt 4 interfaces , a USB 3.2 Type-C interface and a nano-SIM card slot. The new generation ThinkPad X1 Fold weighs 1.28kg, and the total weight including the stand and keyboard is 1.9kg.
The new generation ThinkPad X1 Fold is expected to be available in November 2022, with a starting price of US$2,499 (approximately 17,243.1 yuan).
