Apple has released the Beta 2 version of iOS 16 Beta 2 and iPadOS 16 to developers. This version introduces some new features and optimizes the new features launched in the previous version iOS 16.1.
01 Lock screen photo wallpaper customization

04 Astronomy Wallpaper Positioning
The Earth Astronomy Wallpaper displays the user's location with a green dot, but it does not remain on the wallpaper and is only visible when editing the wallpaper. Astronomy wallpapers are now also available on older iPhones, such as iPhone XS.
05 Wallpaper Editing

08 SMS filtering
Users can classify text messages from unknown numbers into 12 sub-groups, including transactional and promotional categories. For Indian users, supported devices pull events from SMS, and activities and scheduled items can be displayed in Siri suggestions and added to message threads and calendar inboxes.
09 iPad OS 16 front-end scheduling
iPadOS 16 beta 2, new front-end scheduling settings are added to the "Home Screen and Dock" section of the "Settings" application. Users can set "hide applications" when using front-end scheduling and "Hide Dock" option.
10 Spam Report
For certain US carriers, Messaging in iOS 16 beta 2 extends the Report Spam feature to allow users to report SMS/MMS spam to the carrier.
11 Translate
translation app now supports Turkish , Thai, Polish , Indonesian and Dutch .
12 Running Workout
For developers, the HealthKit Workout API supports multi-sport workouts, including swimming, biking, and running. The running exercise content has been updated, and the exercise indicators include running power, ground contact time, vertical swing, running speed and stride length.
iOS 16 Beta 2 was likely completed before WWDC was started, so the bug in iOS 16.1 has not been fixed. Although there is no glitch that affects daily use, we still remind you to update with caution.
