TEA2017AAT is a digitally configurable LLC and PFC combination controller for efficient resonant power supply. It includes LLC and PFC controller functions. The PFC can be configured to operate at DCM/QR, CCM fixed frequency, or multi-mode supporting all operating modes to optimize PFC efficiency. TEA2017AAT can build a complete resonant power supply with simple power supply design and low number of components. TEA2017AAT is available in a small narrow SO16 package.

TEA2017AAT digital architecture is based on high-speed configurable hardware state machine to ensure reliability and real-time performance. During power supply development, various operating and protection settings for LLC and PFC controllers can be adjusted to meet specific application requirements by loading new settings into the device. The proprietary TEA2017AAT configuration content cannot be copied without authorization, and configuration security is guaranteed.

Compared with traditional resonant topology, TEA2017AAT exhibits very high efficiency at low loads due to its LLC low power consumption mode. This mode operates in the power region between continuous switching (also called high-power mode) and intermittent mode.
