1. How to choose a microphone when shooting videos?
Many friends ask what kind of microphone they should buy. Before answering this question, I usually ask the creator a few questions. For example, what content needs to be recorded with this microphone? In what environment should it be recorded? What kind of shooting host should it be used on? ?What’s the budget? So depending on different shooting content, recording environment and other factors, the microphones chosen are different.
2. What are the classifications of common microphones?
In the process of shooting Vlog short videos, commonly used microphones are divided according to the principle of acoustic-to-electrical conversion, and are divided into two types: dynamic coil type and capacitive type; according to the transmission method of audio signals, they are divided into wired microphones and wireless microphones. There are two types of ; according to the recording format, they are divided into mono microphone , stereo microphone and surround sound microphone 3 types; according to the directivity, they are divided into cardioid polarity and omnidirectional. There are two types of sex.

3. What are the mainstream microphone audio interfaces?
The commonly used audio interfaces for shooting Vlog short videos mainly include TRS interface and XLR (XLR) interface. TRS interfaces usually come in 3 sizes, namely 6.3mm, 3.5mm and 2.5mm. The common equipment for shooting Vlog short videos is mainly 3.5mm. "T", "R" and "S" are the abbreviations of "Tip", "Ring" and "Sleeve" respectively. Although the name of the interface is called TRS, it depends on the application on different devices. It is also subdivided into three types: TS, TRS, and TRRS. The mainstream audio interfaces used for shooting Vlog short videos are mainly TRS and TRRS. There are two black wires on the
TRS terminal to divide it into 3 parts. Most interfaces for mixing mono microphones and stereo microphones are TRS interfaces (Figure 3-2 below). The TRRS terminal is divided into 4 parts by 3 black wires (as shown in Figure 3-3 below). In the past few years, the mainstream mobile phone headphone plug had this specification. In recent years, the iPhone has changed the audio jack to Lightning, and Android devices have changed the audio jack to Lightning. The hole was changed to USB-C (as shown in Figure 3-4 below).
The XLR interface is also called the XLR interface and comes in two types: standard size XLR and mini XLR. Among them, the standard size XLR (as shown in Figure 3-5 above) interface can be seen on professional microphones, video recorders, audio recorders, and audio interfaces. The smaller size miniXLR is more common in stereo microphones and lavalier microphones.
