Acer ( Acer ) has upgraded its Predator Gaming PC product line and said it will go on sale next year. The Acer Predator Orion 7000 will be the first PC gaming device equipped with Intel’s 12th-generation Alder Lake CPU. It will be available in China, Europe and the Middle East in the first quarter of next year, and in the United States in the second quarter of next year.
Acer Predator Orion 7000 is equipped with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 and 3090 GPU, which is not unusual in the current series of GeForce RTX 3080 and 3090 GPUs. Acer plans to use up to 64GB of DDR5-4000 memory and is compatible with PCIe Gen 5.0. The company also plans to equip up to two 1TB M.2 PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD memory modules, and a "hot-plug" hard drive bay that can accommodate 2.5-inch drives.
Predator Orion 7000 will use Acer's self-developed Predator FrostBlade 2.0 cooling fan, equipped with two 140 mm fans on the front and a 120 mm fan on the back for heat dissipation. In Acer's current product line event in the UK, one of the exhibits showed a model with a 240mm AIO on the top.
This case will have a USB-C 3.2 Gen 1 port,Three USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 ports, and two audio jacks on the front. On the back of the case, there will be another three USB-A 3.2 Gen 2 ports, one USB-C 3.2 Gen 2x2 port, two USB 2.0 ports and three other audio jacks for a large number of additional device connections. This PC meets the criteria for upgrading Windows11 .
It is estimated that the price of the Acer Predator Orion 7000 in the Chinese market will be around 20,000 yuan.
