Qualcomm is obviously developing several new chips that will span the mid-range and low-end categories. One of the new chips will be used in entry-level gaming phones. It is worth noting that the chip will be able to support displays with a refresh rate of up to 144Hz. The report comes from WinFuture. According to them, Qualcomm is developing at least two platforms: Snapdragon SM6375 and Snapdragon SM6225.
First, the Snapdragon SM6375 will be an eight-core CPU with four Kryo Gold performance cores and four Kryo Silver efficiency cores. The report pointed out that Qualcomm is currently testing four SKUs on the same platform with different clock speeds.

The following is the SKU allegedly being developed by Qualcomm Details:
4 2.5GHz Gold cores + 4 2.2GHz Silver cores
4 2.3GHz Gold cores + 4 2.1 GHz Silver core
4 2.2GHz Gold core + 4 2.0GHz Silver core
4 2.1GHz Gold core + 4 1.8GHz Silver core
GPU frequency from 800MHz, 940MHz It varies from 960MHz. The most interesting point here is that one of the models currently being tested by Qualcomm will be able to provide support for displays with a 144Hz refresh rate and will be released with mobile phones for gamers. This is not surprising, because Qualcomm has been focusing on gaming chips for some time; all Snapdragon chips with the G suffix are focused on gaming.
However, the report did not specify the name of SM6375. This means that we are not sure whether this will join the Snapdragon 7xx series or the 6xx series. What we do know is that SM6225 will become part of the Snapdragon 6xx series. Qualcomm has not released any technical specifications for the SM6225 chip, but we were told that the chip is being tested on a developer unit with a 90Hz FHD+ display, 6GB of memory and 128GB of UFS 2.2 flash memory. This is enough to show that this chip will be used in low-end products.
These two chips are said to be manufactured by TSMC , but we are not sure which process node these chips will be manufactured on. When Qualcomm officially announces these news, we will keep you informed.
