Last year AMD launched Radeon RX 5600M and RX 5700M graphics cards based on Navi 10 cores, but they did not receive a enthusiastic response from the market, and there are very few laptops equipped with these graphics cards. In 2021, AMD has a greater investment in high-end notebook computers, with the Ryzen 5000 series of mobile processors released at the beginning of the year, entering the market of high-end gaming notebook computers.

At this stage, gaming laptops using AMD Ryzen 5000 series mobile processors are basically matched with GeForce RTX 30 series mobile graphics cards, and AMD’s ecosystem on mobile platforms still lacks available high-end GPUs. However, according to Twitter user @Komachi, this situation may soon change.

According to AMD’s latest driver, AMD is planning to launch a Radeon RX 6800M graphics card based on Navi 22 core. The device ID of the GPU is 73D5:C3, which uses a full specification GPU core. Navi 22 mobile GPU will have four different TGP versions, namely 145W, 135W, 100W and 90W. I believe the Radeon RX 6800M graphics card is the highest specification one. At the same time, the Radeon RX 6700M graphics card is likely to also use the Navi 22 core, but the TGP version is 100W and 90W, as a response to the Nvidia Max-Q.

According to VideoCardz reports, Navi 22 mobile GPU may have 192-bit and 160-bit video memory bit widths to achieve two different video memory configurations of 12GB and 10GB. Radeon RX 6600M and Radeon RX 6500M may use Navi 23 mobile GPU, the opponent will be Nvidia's GA106 core. The Navi 24 mobile GPU is likely to be the choice of entry-level notebooks, competing with low-end independent display such as Intel Iris X e MAX or NVIDIA GeForce MX450.
