九二：Little words.
The second line of the Yijing hexagram talks about small words, which means there will be small disputes. The line words come from the hexagrams, and we combine them with the hexagrams to deduce them as follows.
First of all, let’s look at Youyan, which means litigation. Disagreements may lead to quarrels and even litigation, which is the so-called lawsuit. When we look at the hexagram images, the lower hexagram is Qian, and Qian is Yan. The two, three, and four lines form a Dui hexagram, and Dui is also Yan. If the words of truth are outward and the words of Qian are inside, if the words of truth are contrary to the words of Qian, disputes will arise. Let's look at the position of Yao and . The Yang Yao of the second Yao is in the Yin position. I Ching is called incorrect or inappropriate. The two lines are both yang, and they do not correspond to the five lines. Yi Zhuan says that being close to each other and not getting along with each other is a bad thing, or harming it, and regretting and being stingy. What we are talking about is the situation of and . Yang meets Yang, and Yin meets Yin. Therefore, the position of Eryao is more difficult, and there will be disputes and lawsuits. The sage's observation is summarized in the word "youyan". When we look at the fourth line of the Zhouyi hexagram, it is also said that if you say something but not believe it, it is also because the dry words and the dui words are contrary to each other, which is the same as the second line of the need hexagram.
Next, let’s look at the small print. Although there are disputes, they are not that serious. They are small disputes, or in other words, they are controllable. When we look at the hexagram, two, three and four lines form a Dui hexagram, and Dui is a small hexagram. This small character comes from Dui Gua . Dui means joy and harmony. The second Yao does not regard the third Yao as an enemy, and the second Yao wins. The two Yao and the three Yao jointly harmonize with the Four Yao, so even if there is something to say, it can be resolved and it is controllable.
Thirdly, there are words in the Book of Changes, whether you believe what you hear or don’t believe what you say, they are all talking about disputes and lawsuits. We use Yi Lin to prove it. Yi Lin's minor faults need to be dealt with, and he has a lawsuit with his uncle and even hurts each other. Litigation means talking. When Yi Lin Heng needed to speak, he bared his teeth and looked at each other angrily. This is also talking about the opposite of evil words, that is, there are words.
From the above observations, we can see that the small words in the second line come from the hexagrams and are about small disputes.
