On the ninth day of the lunar month, Ming Yi is flying, and his wings are lowered. A gentleman goes about his business without eating for three days. Where there is a journey, the master has something to say.

"Xiang" says: A gentleman does good deeds and never eats his righteousness.
[Translation] " Xiangzhuan " says: A gentleman's decisiveness in running away shows that on the ninth day of the lunar month, integrity and righteousness are the most important things. If it is not in line with righteousness, he would rather not eat his salary and food.
【Analysis.Explanation.Perception】On the ninth day of the lunar month, Yang Yao is in the Yang position, at the lowest position of Li Ming in the hexagram "Ming Yi". Birds are the most sensitive to sunlight. When the afterglow of the setting sun has not yet faded away, they begin to return to their nests. A gentleman has the wisdom to see the subtle things. When the public has not felt the harm of the light, they will just like the birds without waiting for sunset and dark, and they will run away in a hurry. "The bright Yi is flying, and its wings are hanging down." This shows the speed of its departure and the firmness of its will. Converging his wings to fly low and soaring unassumingly makes people feel that a gentleman is hiding his purpose. "A gentleman should go without food for three days." It is an adjective, indicating that a gentleman does not love his position, his homeland and his country, and his actions are not slow or delayed. "You should not eat your righteousness." It shows that a gentleman does not eat his salary and food for the sake of morality. It is not as understood by some ancients as "not caring about eating for three days or preferring to go hungry." Because the ninth day of the lunar month is like Lao Tzu , it is easy to go back to seclusion early. "Where there is a journey, the master has something to say" indicates that the master wherever he goes does not understand the action intention of the wise and wise man.
Yao Ci is indeed brilliant. It is difficult to leave his homeland, the country of his parents, and his relatives and friends cannot explain the reason why he will go away and live in seclusion. Just like a bird, it lowers its wings and leaves quietly. It means that on the ninth day of the lunar month, you have met people, planned things secretly, and acted decisively.
Sixty-two, Mingyi. Yi is in the left thigh, and it is used to make the horse strong, which is auspicious.
[Translation] Sixty-two, the light is hurt. If the left thigh is injured, use a strong horse to rescue it (get out of danger) and you will get good luck.
"Xiang" says: The good fortune of six and two is to follow the rules.
[Translation] "Xiang Zhuan" says: Liu Er's auspiciousness is because he can docilely adhere to the laws of Zhongzheng.
【Analysis.Explanation.Perception】The sixty-two Yin Yao is in the soft position, and it is soft and can achieve the middle and right. It is the master of civilization, the symbol of King Wen of Zhou . Sixty-two is the most virtuous, wise and outstanding person. He has acquired the right way and has a pliable nature. He can adapt to the situation and be good at handling himself. However, when encountering the period of darkness and villains harming the light, it is inevitable that they will not be harmed by villains. "Biji", it seems that the injury is not too serious and has not hurt the vital parts. In the "Mingyi" situation, although he is hurt, he can still act. This is a tactic to hide his secrets, so as not to be suspected by the ignorant king and treacherous ministers. Using a strong and good horse to rescue can help you get out of danger and then plan a good strategy. King Wen of Zhou Dynasty returned to his own kingdom, "The King enjoyed the Western Mountains", so he went to Mount Qishan to worship the gods of heaven and earth, unite people's hearts, and plan the plan to destroy Shang. "Using to save the horse and strengthen it" is a metaphor, symbolizing Xibohou King Wen of Zhou's advisers and generals gathered together, and their protective power is strong. Therefore, the divination word for Liu Er is "auspicious". That is to say, the ending of 62 is auspicious.
In ninety-three, the Ming Yi hunted in the south and got their chief head. Don't be sick, chastity.
[Translation] On the 93rd year, when Guangming was harmed, he patrolled the south and carried out conquests to capture the culprits. Don't be too hasty at this time and stick to the right path.
"Xiang" says: The ambition of hunting in the south is a great success.
[Translation] "Xiang Zhuan" says: The ambition to patrol the south and carry out conquest shows that Jiu San's ambition is still to gain a lot.
【Analysis.Explanation.Perception】In Jiu San, the Yang Yao is located in the Yang position to be upright, and it is also above the lower hexagram Li Body. Li is fire, Ming, and Sun. "Liye means Mingye, everything meets each other, and it is the hexagram of the south."
At the end of the Shang Dynasty, King Zhou was fatuous and cruel, the politics was dark, and villains were in power. It was a period when the light of a gentleman was harmed.After long-term efforts, the Zhou tribe located in the west of the Shang Dynasty had basically made preparations for "cutting merchants"; however, King Wu of the Zhou Dynasty repeatedly persuaded various princes to wait for the right opportunity. Jiu Sanyao probably refers to their conquest of the southern city, capturing its leader, stabilizing the domestic defense, building good relations with neighbors, and doing more detailed work to complete the great cause of destroying the merchants and establishing the Zhou Dynasty. "Don't be sick, Zhen". It is to warn Nan Shou that although he has won the victory, he should not rush into the decisive battle with the Shang Dynasty .
