Wisdom 14 Dayou Hexagram: Be on top and don’t be arrogant, approachable
[Original text] Dayou: Yuanheng.
The image says: Fire is in the sky, and there is greatness; a gentleman should stop evil and promote good, and follow the heaven and avoid fate.
[Analysis] Dayou Gua: Broad and Tongtai.
"Xiangci" says: The lower hexagram is Qian and the sky, the upper hexagram is Li and the fire, fire is in the sky, and the bright candle is in all directions. This is the hexagram of the great being. A gentleman observes this hexagram and learns from fire, understands good and evil, suppresses evil and promotes good, so as to follow the destiny of heaven and pray for good luck.
The Dayou hexagram symbolizes wealth. Be prosperous and prosperous. If you interact with people on the ninth day of the lunar month without involving benefits and harm, it will naturally not cause disasters; however, only through hardships can you avoid disasters. Jiuer uses a big cart to carry money, and no matter where it is transported, there will be no disaster. The Lord Jiusan presented tribute to the emperor on time, but the villain could not do this. If you are rich and do not arrogant, you will be free of disasters. Six or five people have integrity and communicate with each other, and their majesty is revealed, and they can achieve good fortune. Sasuke, who came down from heaven at the age of the Upper Kyushu, blessed him, so that he could gain good luck at all times and everywhere, and to be in all directions.
Close your sense of superiority
People always associate "pride" with "defeat" and "loss", so people often say things like "a arrogant soldier will be defeated" and "pride makes people fall behind". The same is true. "Apride" is the root cause of many failures in history in the battles of more defeats and weak defeats. " Dayou Gua " says "Not the breeze, no blame" and "there is no good fortune, no power, no good fortune" are nothing more than this truth.
No one is willing to admit that they are not as good as the other party. This is the minimum vanity of everyone.
Therefore, Sir Fael, the 19th-century British politician, warned those who asked him for advice, "If possible, be smarter than others, but don't tell others that you are smarter than him."
Socrates told his disciples a smooth way of dealing with the world: "I only know one thing, that is, I know nothing."
Everyone has vanity. Some people can do anything for a little fame; some people can roll up their sleeves and fight for their lives for a little face. On the other hand, if you satisfy others' vanity and make him feel proud, it is the best praise for him. He will definitely have a good impression of you and repay you.
French philosopher Rossie Fagu said: "If you want to get enemies, be superior to your friends; if you want to get friends, be superior to your friends." This sentence is true. Because when our friends act superior to us, they have the feeling of an important person, but when we act superior to him, they will develop a sense of inferiority , causing envy and jealousy.
