Recently, Tengshi officially released information saying that the first mass-produced car of the brand's new MPV model Tengshi D9 has been officially mass-produced and will be loaded and shipped on October 23 for delivery to car owners across the country. The car was officially launched as early as August 23, but it took about two months to be officially delivered. During this period, it accumulated more than 30,000 orders, maintaining the high popularity of the new model of BYD .
In terms of appearance, the new car adopts a scale-shaped large-mouth grille on the front face, and a large number of silver or chrome-plated materials have become the most prominent feature. The complex-shaped special-shaped headlight group is deeply embedded in it. There are horizontal daytime running light groups and vertical air intake details in the fog light areas on both sides, further enhancing the sense of sport.
On the side of the car body, the new car actually has a sporty and avant-garde style, adding a prominent waistline that is not common in MPV sports, and still has a large amount of chrome decorations throughout the D-pillar, window line and side skirts. With elements such as large-sized wheels, it is obvious that they do not blindly consider the business atmosphere, but are positioned as the forefront of fashion.
At the rear part of the car, the thick through-type taillights have a design known as the "time and space shuttle star feather taillight". It has a strong recognition without lighting it, and it has an excellent sense of technology after lighting it. The trunk lines are also concave and convex, and the significantly prominent roof spoiler is matched with the exquisite chrome trim in the rear bumper, which further enhances the sense of layering. In terms of body size, the new car's measurements reach 5256/1966/1920mm and its wheelbase is 3110mm. It is a very standard medium and large MPV size, and of course it is also BYD's largest model at present.
In the interior part, the new car can still be seen from BYD's previous model design, suspended large-size LCD screen, Ye Jingjing dashboard, electronic gear lever, air conditioning air outlet and steering wheel, etc., I believe that BYD owners will be very familiar with each other. On this basis, it is an MPV model after all. The new car adopts a more surround center console, and due to the higher price, such as the high-end panel decoration of various materials, there are no absent.
On this basis, as a high-end business MPV, the new car not only has a wide and comfortable seat with fully independent multi-stage adjustable aviation headrests in the second row, but also adds a multimedia control screen located inside the armrest box, showing a good sense of technology. The third row of seats also have relatively thick filling, taking into account the experience of most consumers.
In terms of power, the new car is of course equipped with a 1.5T plug-in hybrid assembly, with a maximum engine power of 139 horsepower, and is matched with an electronically controlled four-wheel drive system composed of a single front motor or a dual front and rear motor. The comprehensive maximum power can reach 301 horsepower, 345 horsepower and 407 horsepower respectively. The fastest acceleration of 100 kilometers takes only 7.9 seconds. The combination of it is an 11.06 or 40.06kwh lithium battery pack, with a maximum NEDC range of pure electric range up to 190km, and a comprehensive range of over 1000km.
Except for the lowest-end version, other models support fast charging function, which has a good user experience. Of course, a pure electric version will be launched in the later stage, with a range of about 600km and the fastest acceleration performance of 6.9 seconds. What kind of performance will be achieved in the future is worth looking forward to.
