Safety and space are equally indispensable
In order to ensure the safety of passengers and batteries as much as possible, the E-GMP platform has realized the optimal design for the characteristics of electric vehicles, and is equipped with a number of “black technologies”. The E-GMP platform is equipped with an impact energy buffer or hazard avoidance structure at the front of the vehicle, the front of the dashboard, A-pillar, etc., so as to achieve the effect of alleviating the impact force. For the safety of the battery, the E-GMP platform uses a large number of hot stamping forming auxiliary materials at the front and peripheral positions of the battery, and firmly connects the central part of the battery shell to the car body, which will effectively buffer the impact force.
In order to create a wider space, the E-GMP platform expands the riding space by shortening the front and rear suspension, extending the wheelbase, and adopting a stretchable cockpit design.
