On July 10, Changan Automobile's compact SUV, the Changan CS55 PLUS Blue Whale Edition, officially debuted. The new car is a new model of Changan CS55 PLUS. It will be equipped with Changan Blue Whale NE 1.5T engine and adopt a more sporty design style.
Changan CS55 PLUS Blue Whale version is more sporty in detail than the regular version. This is mainly because the new car is equipped with a new sports appearance package. The front face design is still the latest "Yuyue" family design language of the Changan brand, and on this basis, a large number of chrome-plated trim strips on the regular version of the model are replaced with high-gloss black. At the same time, the interior of the front grille has also been changed from a horizontal strip structure to a diamond-shaped mesh design, combined with the dark gray color scheme and the embellishment of red trim, showing a strong sporty atmosphere.
The shape of the rear part of the car is relatively full without overly complicated lines, showing the beauty of simplicity. The details, such as the through-type LED tail light group and the rear bumper, are basically the same as those of the ordinary model, and have a high degree of recognition. The black decoration around the exhaust has been slightly changed, and the new car has also been replaced with a chrome-plated tail throat that mimics the style of a total of four sides on both sides, which is in line with the characteristics of its sporty version.
The modification of the interior is not big, which is basically similar to the regular version. The overall color scheme is mainly black, and red elements are incorporated in the center console and door panels, which greatly enhances the dynamic atmosphere. For the power system part, the Changan CS55 PLUS Blue Whale Edition will be equipped with Changan’s latest Blue Whale NE 1.5T direct injection turbocharged engine, with a maximum horsepower of 180Ps and a peak torque of 300N·m. The matching transmission system is expected to be a 6-speed manual or 6-speed manual transmission.
