The second-generation Fit (2007-2013)
The second-generation Fit was unveiled in Tokyo in 2007 under the code name GE8. Once it was unveiled, it was praised by many consumers and fans in Japan. It has been the sales champion in Japan for 8 months and won the title of car of the year. Due to the good reputation of the first-generation models in China and the excellent performance of the second-generation models in the Japanese market, in 2008, Guangqi Honda officially introduced domestic production.
The designer further deepened the MM concept and carried out a comprehensive upgrade to give drivers and passengers more space for car use. The power system is 1.3L and 1.5L engines, consistent with the previous model. Due to the failure of the CVT gearbox on the first-generation model, the transmission system was changed to a 5-speed automatic manual gearbox. In March 2011, the second-generation Fit ushered in a mid-term facelift and added a panoramic sunroof. It was one of the few hatchbacks that provided a panoramic sunroof for 100,000 yuan that year.

The third-generation Fit (2013-2019)

GK5 reduces the weight of the car body through a brand-new laser welding process, and with its 1.5L Earth Dream engine, it has a qualitative breakthrough in performance. The MM concept of the third-generation fit is further deepened. The magic seats in the rear can make more changes in the interior of the car, thereby bringing more storage space. Relying on its own product strength, it is firmly in the domestic small car market, but due to the impact of the national six displacement, sales are gradually declining. Fourth-generation Fit (released in 2019)
At the 2019 Tokyo Motor Show, Honda officially released the fourth-generation Fit, but the exterior styling is no longer the same as the previous GK5. The new style will undoubtedly make Fit fans take a longer time to get used to it. Many fans think that Fit may no longer be a sporty car like GK5. A tool for daily household transportation. However, at this time, a well-known refitting brand released a new fourth-generation Fit modification kit and various modification accessories, which seems to indicate that the fourth-generation Fit has not given up its sporting attributes.
