In terms of power, bZ4X has two power forms: front-wheel drive and four-wheel drive. The front-wheel drive version has a maximum motor power of 150kW. The four-wheel drive version is equipped with dual motors, with a combined maximum power of 160kW. The peak torques of the front-wheel drive and four-wheel drive versions are 266.3N·m and 337N·m respectively. In terms of battery, bZ4X is equipped with a ternary lithium battery jointly developed with CATL and , and is produced by Toyota exclusive production line. The bZ4X body structure can protect the battery from collisions and impacts from all directions. The isolation battery structure design effectively prevents the battery from spontaneous combustion, ensuring battery safety in response to extreme cold, high temperature, water wading and other extreme conditions. The water wading capacity is up to 50cm.
bZ4X provides four cruising range versions of 400km, 500km, 560km and 615km to meet the different needs of users. It is worth mentioning that the bZ4X battery is developed with the goal of maintaining a battery capacity retention rate of 90% after 10 years. Together with the battery safety technology and efficient temperature control system, it creates a solid and reliable safe driving guarantee for users.
For off-roading, bZ4X adopts the X-MODE four-wheel drive system jointly developed with Subaru , and is equipped with the newly developed Grip-Control intelligent creep mode, which has two modes: snow and mud. When one wheel slips, you only need to turn on the mode, set the speed gear to maintain a certain speed (2-10km/h), firmly grip the road without slipping, release the brake pedal, and focus on controlling the direction.
