BMW SUV "X5" is undergoing a minor facelift. The overall new car is close to the appearance of the X5, but the design of some parts is more radical. The front cover shows a slightly enlarged double kidney grille and slimmer headlights. In addition, the new air intake designed in the same style as the modified version of X6 looks more domineering than the old model.

At the rear of the car, the LED taillights are virtual components, but you can see that a more sporty quad exhaust pipe is installed.

In the cabin, it is expected that there will be an curved display , consisting of a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a 14.9-inch infotainment system, as well as a streamlined dashboard, an improved central stack and a compact shifter.

M The core of performance is the mild hybrid system, combining a 4.4-liter V8 twin-turbocharged engine and 48V system, the same as the recently released X7 M60i, equipped with an eight-speed transmission with a maximum output of 530ps. The power output of the high-end version "X5M Competition" will be increased to 620ps.

The new car will be the successor model of "X5 M50i", and like X7, it will be given the name "X5 M60i". The improved X5 global debut will be held as early as 2022, but may also be released in early 2023.
