The suspension of sales in 2035 by the Ministry of Energy also made some traditional fuel car companies realize that there is really not much time left. Currently, Volvo and Fiat Chrysler Group announced as early as 2019 that it would no longer launch fuel vehicles; Lincoln completely stopped selling fuel vehicles in 2022; in April 2022, BYD announced that it would stop the production of complete fuel vehicles from March, and will focus on the pure electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles in the future; BAIC and Nissan plan to stop the production and sales of independent brand traditional fuel passenger cars in China by 2025; BMW plans to stop selling fuel vehicles in EU in 2030; Mercedes-Benz plans to achieve full electrification by 2030; Haval brand under Great Wall Motor announced a comprehensive transformation to new energy vehicles, and it is expected that fuel vehicles will be officially suspended in 2030; Volkswagen and Kia plan to stop production of fuel vehicles by 2035; Toyota plans to stop selling fuel vehicles in China, Europe and North America by 2030.
The current electric vehicle market has broad growth prospects. Whether in environmental issues or personal use of users, "electrification" has undoubtedly become the trend of automobile development, and replacing fuel vehicles is only a long-term problem. Are traditional fuel car companies ready?
