When you see Chery QQ ice cream, you will feel like you have a long separation with "Chery QQ". The main reason is that QQ ice cream uses many "circular" elements in its design, which looks more playful and cute. However, from the side and rear of the car, the whole car is square and even a bit "box" design makes it a bit fashionable and retro. Of course, this is also a good way to improve the space inside the car as much as possible under the limited car captain.
Chery QQ ice cream interior design is very simple, and some color jumps enhance the fashion and vitality of the car. The full LCD instrument panel is a place where the entire vehicle has a sense of technology, including reversing images, radios, Bluetooth , vehicle information, tire pressure detection, etc., which are integrated into this screen.
QQ ice cream length, width and height dimensions are 2980/1496/1637mm respectively, with a wheelbase of 1960mm, which is longer than Hongguang MINIEV and has a wheelbase of 20mm more. Although it looks very small, when you open the car door and sit in the driver's seat, you will immediately change your previous view and feel like you are opening an SUV.
The main reason is on the one hand, the driving posture is that the QQ ice cream sits very high and will not be in the seat all at once like when you are sitting in a car. Its seat is more like a small stool. Although it doesn’t feel wrapped, you will involuntarily straighten the backrest when you sit on it, then straighten your chest and tighten your abdomen. In addition, the steering wheel position is different from the models we often drive. It does not have a large tilt when holding it, but the angle is a bit flat, and it feels like driving with the steering wheel on it. On the other hand, the QQ ice cream has a very high field of vision, which is basically flush with the compact SUV. In addition, the dual-door design makes the B-pillar very backward, so the front driver can have a very spacious field of vision and double the sense of security when driving.

As a pure electric microcar with a positioning of 30,000 to 40,000 yuan, there should not be any expectations in terms of power and driving control, but after the test drive, we still had a lot of surprises. QQ ice cream adopts the rear-drive layout. The permanent magnet synchronous motor is placed on the rear axle . The motor has a high power of 20kW and a large torque of 85N·m, which is exactly the same as the motor parameter of Hongguang MINIEV. QQ Ice Cream has two versions: 120km battery life and 170km battery life. The battery capacity is 9.6kWh and 13.9kWh respectively. Both are equipped with lithium iron phosphate batteries. The charging time is 6 hours and 8 hours respectively. Fast charging is not supported. It can be said that the data on the power and battery are almost exactly the same as that on Hongguang MINIEV.
After introducing the parameters, continue to see the driving experience. The QQ ice cream we tested was the top-end version of the entire series, with a range of 170km. When I was hung in D gear and released the brake, I felt it was different. It had idle speed! Friends who don’t know about electric cars at the same price may have doubts about this, but for Hongguang MINIEV users, they are undoubtedly very envious. With idle speed, QQ ice cream is better controlled at low speed. There is no need to control the accelerator too accurately. Especially when reversing, you don’t have to step on it carefully. Just lift and release the brakes gently, and it is safer to drive.
QQ ice cream has low power parameters, but since its curb weight is only about 700kg, it does not feel that the power is insufficient when driving, especially within 60km/h, and it will not be inferior to those 1.5L and 1.6L cars at all. Of course, there is another important reason here, that is, when you turn on the QQ ice cream and step on the accelerator pedal, you will involuntarily step on the accelerator deeper. Simply put, you will not be stingy with the accelerator. You will basically maintain half-foot oil at the start, and sometimes you will have full accelerator, so the power response will be very direct, and with the sound of the motor, you will be able to take the lead soon. On the contrary, if you are driving a gas car, most people will choose to start by stepping on the accelerator lightly, and they will unconsciously control the engine speed during driving, so this is also the main reason why QQ ice cream is more refreshing than fuel vehicles.
QQ ice cream provides 2 driving modes. In ECO mode, the throttle response is gentler and the power output is smoother, which is suitable for following the car; the throttle response of the SPORT mode is more positive, the pushback feel is stronger, and it is more confident when overtaking. When the brake is released in both modes, the force recovered by the brake force can be felt, but the deceleration effect is limited and adjustment is not supported.
When driving at low speed on the streets and alleys, QQ ice cream has a light steering wheel, sensitive accelerator, and short body. It will be very relaxed and relaxed when changing lanes, meeting cars, turning around, etc., which is quite interesting. This feeling of driving a "bumper car" as a child is difficult to feel when driving a big car. Therefore, if it is a tool car for transportation and commuting in cities, QQ ice cream is the most suitable.
Of course, due to the lack of motor power, after exceeding 80km/h, the acceleration feeling is significantly weakened, and the throttle response is no longer active. In addition to waiting for a long time, overtaking requires a good amount of advance and prediction, but then again, it is completely enough to deal with the city ring line.
, let’s talk about the chassis suspension. QQ Ice Cream uses the front McPherson independent suspension + rear three-link non-independent suspension , and the tire size is 145/70 R12. In normal driving conditions, the suspension has good toughness. As long as it is not too big bumps, the comfort of the front row can be guaranteed, but the shorter wheelbase is still quite obvious when passing through continuous undulating roads or potholes. Like power, at a speed of 60km/h, the driving experience is good, and it is not much different from a small car when driving. After exceeding 60km/h, it can reach a level level due to size, weight, wind resistance, etc.
Before the test drive, a small episode appeared. Since there are many vehicles tested with QQ ice cream and the car keys are not numbered, we have to use the "unconventional" method to find cars, that is, to open the iCar ecological app and search for cars with one click.
