Today, there is a question on Zhihu: Good will be rewarded, evil will be rewarded, but now we will not be rewarded, and the time has not come. This is not only the essence of Buddhist thought, but also one of the core contents of Chinese traditional culture. It is intended to advise people to distinguish between good and evil, always maintain a kind of good intention, do more good deeds, do less or no evil deeds, otherwise you will receive karma and effect. However, does this relationship of cause and effect really exist in real life? Why do so many people around us do all the bad things but live well, even better than ordinary people, without getting the retribution they deserve? But those kind-hearted and wholehearted people are poor and do not receive the blessings they deserve? Why is this? Does karma really exist? If so, what kind of experience would it be?
I have good rewards, and evil will be rewarded. I believe in the existence of this causal relationship. There is another saying that God can do evil, but he can't live his own evil. I have to pay it back sooner or later.
Each of us lives in the mundane world. From the traditional culture of the Chinese nation and the practice of mankind, everything should be based on goodness. Those who accumulate goodness will receive blessings, and those who accumulate evil will suffer misfortunes.
My mother practices Zen and does good deeds. She is willing to give good things, but she lives a very thrifty and simple life. She is willing to help others when she has difficulties, and she seems a little stingy to herself. When you meet people begging on the road, you are willing to help. Sometimes, I told her that many people pretend to beg for food and should not or should not be worthy of help. She said that as long as the money you send comes from your kindness, it all depends on how you feel. As for the person you accept, that is his problem.
Sometimes I can’t figure it out about this matter. Now that I’m growing up, I gradually understand the truth. Life is a practice, and the focus is on cultivating one's own heart. You will encounter various tests and experiences, including gains and losses, successes and failures, honors and disgraces, love, hate, joy, sorrow, and warmth, etc. Even helping beggars is cultivating their hearts, cultivating a heart that does good deeds and gives good deeds, and a tolerant and fraternal heart.
In today's society, there are indeed many times when the cause and effect of good and evil we expect is not in time, and we are also confused and puzzled by some illusions in society. We always feel that bad people always have good rewards, and good people do not receive blessings. What is wrong with this world and society? Is all our kindness persistence wrong? Is it really this world and society that pollutes kindness, or is it that evil people always control the world and society?
People are doing it, God is watching, good and evil will be rewarded at all times. I have always believed in this principle. Although there are many times when the cause and effect of good and evil may not be effective immediately, those who do good may not be blessed immediately, and those who do evil may not be punished immediately. This is how I understand this issue. Life is a gift from God and the arrangement of destiny. Everyone is born with certain blessings. Every time they increase the good and reduce the evil, practice and experience every day, and accumulate quantity to a certain level every day, there will inevitably be qualitative changes, which requires a process of slowly accumulating and fermenting.
Human nature is good or evil, and from ancient times to the present, there have been different opinions. In fact, no matter whether it is good or evil, it is not very important to the beginning of life. The most important thing is that after traveling, what you do and what you say and do determine your final result. Those who do good deeds will receive good rewards over time. Those who do evil will lose their blessings every day and reduce their lifespan, and will be punished. Perhaps, the cause and effect we are looking forward to seeing are already on the road.
Since we have the opportunity to come to this world, from life to death, we should do all our words and deeds to be good, so that good virtues can accumulate more, and blessings can benefit ourselves and our loved ones. On the contrary, if you are determined to be evil, slowly digest and reduce your blessings, gradually become zero, and finally become negative, then your retribution and punishment will come.
People live for a lifetime, and they will do more good deeds and accumulate virtue and blessings, both for themselves and for future generations.
Wish everyone good and blessed and enjoy the joy of life! ! ! ! !
