However, his life was full of misfortunes, poor and ordinary, and he even talked to himself, as the saying goes, the Buddha's name is empty and crazy. A series of words and deeds made the people who are not clear about it and said: is a crazy monk.
He is the legendary living Buddha who bowed to the great monks throughout his life, and the monk Daxing of Shuangxi Temple in Jiuhua Mountain.

On October 24, 1894, a baby boy was born in a poor family in Zhujiawan, Niu Town, Taihu County, Anhui Province, named Zhu Wanquan. The boy's life has come to an end from now on. Perhaps it will carry the character of poor children as early as possible, or perhaps it will spend this life in a hurry like parents, becoming an ordinary member of the public.
However, no one would have thought that an ordinary child from a poor family would have an indissoluble bond with Buddha in the future. Grandfather Zhu Hanchen completely changed the boy's life's fate.
grandfather was a Chinese medicine doctor and a blacksmith at that time, and he had a pious belief in Buddhism. In this way, under the influence of his grandfather, the blood of Chinese medicine flowed in his heart, and the seeds of Buddha nature took root in his young Wanquan's heart.
At this moment, it was like the Buddha who intended to test the perfect way to become a Buddha with extreme suffering. The wheel of life finally begins, and Zhu Wanquan's miserable fate finally begins.
The young Zhu Wanquan has long carried the responsibility of the family. As the saying goes, children of poor people are already in the family. At the age of 7, Zhu Wanquan herded cattle in the fields as usual, using this to share the labor at home.
Unexpectedly, the bad news came across unexpectedly...
A group of strangers took the young Zhu Wanquan away, and these people were actually "human traffickers". This moment, like a bolt from the blue, making Zhu Wanquan's family anxious and even more discouraged. In those days, communications were not as developed as they are now, and being abducted means it is destined to be difficult to meet again in this life.
Perhaps Zhu Wanquan's fate will come to an abrupt end at this time. However, everything is destined by the Lord of the Destiny. If he should have become a Buddha, then there will be no way out for heaven.

The miraculous child found naturally made the grandfather start to worry about his entire life. After all, people in the world have unpredictable intentions, so you must have a skill in your hands.
1918, Zhu Wanquan followed his grandfather to the Lotus Pond in Tunxi.
"Let's learn Buddhism first." grandfather decided to let Zhu Wanquan learn Buddhism, and at the same time taught the skills of Wanquan Blacksmith's traditional Chinese medicine to make a living.
But I never expected that sometimes when fate is tortuous and bizarre, I never develop as I wish. As the saying goes, if you are unlucky, you can even drink a sip of water to break your teeth. Zhu Wanquan was teased by fate again, which was really a tragedy.
Before he could have lived a safe life, the melee between the warlords in the north and the south suddenly began. As a male, Zhu Wanquan was recruited as a soldier of a certain unit of the Northern Expedition Army without any warning.
What awaits him may be the whistling bullet, the ruthless killing of his compatriots. It seems that this time, even his life will not be guaranteed.
The people suffer, the people live in poverty, the meaningless killing and war made Zhu Wanquan extremely disgusted. This process made him see human nature and what it means to be miserable.I spend my days in fear every day and never know if I can still see the sun tomorrow.
all this has gone through 6 years.
6 years, I have seen through the impermanence of life and death. Perhaps, at this moment, the seed of Buddha nature from childhood has bloomed in my heart, and a bold decision is as solid as a rock.
"I want to become a monk." There is no more nostalgia in the world.
In the 14th year of the Republic of China, Zhu Wanquan escaped successfully during the melee. The journey was hard, and the Amitabha Buddha that his grandfather often recited when he was a child became his only hope for persistence. He didn't know if there would be a general coming to chase him later, and he didn't know what his future would be.
He just wanted to escape from the danger and find a place to settle down as soon as possible.
trek all the way, but fortunately, he finally arrived at the Baisui Palace in Jiuhua Mountain. Then he worshiped Master Changfa as his master, formally converted, ordained as a monk, and took the Dharma name Daxing. The hanging heart finally settled.
In this way, Zhu Wanquan's changing worldly affairs were cut off, and the road of cultivation that belongs to Daxing began. The legend of a generation of living Buddha "crazy monk" finally appeared to the world.

The hard work all became a great practice day after day. It's like returning to a miserable childhood.
Although practice is difficult, Daxing is extremely happy and enjoys it. Strictly abide by the precepts and only hold 3 cents in your hand all year round. He carried water in the mountains for dozens of miles, without any complaints. He was wearing patchwork clothes to make up for it, so the people nearby were so worn out that they were reluctant to leave it.
practiced safely in 10 years old palace . Until the 20th year of the Republic of China, a decision surprised everyone, and a series of actions made Monk Daxing become a true crazy monk in the eyes of others.
Daxing then received the full precepts at Wanshou Temple, Gulin, Nanjing. He then carried the aspirations of a monk for thousands of years and practiced asceticism in Wutai, Emei, and Putuo, and bowed to the famous Buddhist mountains.
Along the way, every word and action made everyone shout: Where did this crazy monk come from?

However, a special move of Daxing made all strange feelings disappear, making sentient beings respectfully called him: Jigong Living Buddha reincarnated.
Daxing learned the Chinese medicine method with his grandfather. He often shuttled through the dense forest alone to pick herbs, just to help the people along the way see the doctors, adults, children, countless sentient beings, and difficult and complicated diseases, and immediately improve. Then it was passed on by word of mouth.
The cured people handed him money, but he pushed it away, and instead shouted loudly: What money is given to and what money is given to you. What do you want money?
is only because of the treatment of Daxing monk, and never charges. As he said: The people are living a harder life than me, why do you still ask them for money?
The people were not very grateful, so they had to give away fruits and vegetables, and Daxing accepted them as they please.
But unexpectedly, I met a child on the side of the road along the way. Without thinking, I gave all the fruits and vegetables to the child, leaving only an empty basket on my body.
just received the fruits and vegetables along the way and helped the people. When I was hungry, I could only pick some wild fruits in the forest to satisfy my hunger. My heart was full of the words "empty". All of this seemed to be aside.
One day, I finally came to Yuanjue Temple, but Daxing's legs and feet were weak and he couldn't stand firmly. The abbot of the temple couldn't bear it and handed it to Daxing some Xiaomi and instructed: Look at you, you can't even stand firmly, go back and cook some rice porridge.
Daxing was very grateful.
seldom knew that the next second, I met a woman holding a baby on the road. Daxing resolutely gave all the millet to women and girls. He ran to the mountains to pick fruits. He was still "empty" while walking.
That is, when he was weak in his later years, he still traveled dozens of miles a day just to treat children who suddenly suffer from serious illnesses in the village.
"If I don't go, the child will be unsuccessful."
People will say he is stupid. But this crazy monk also lets the mountain forest.
But this silly monk in the eyes of others, but his whole life is open-minded and free, just to save people, to be pure and hard, to save his life in vain, and at the time of his death, the world is even more moved.
million people came spontaneously to commemorate them, save their golden bodies, and worship them for generations. Thousands of monks were willing to chant the Buddha's name for three days, dress up, meditate, and put on a jar, and eventually became the first golden body Bodhisattva in China.
This is the lifelong character of the monk Daxing.
