Tanzhe Temple faces north and south. The main buildings can be divided into three roads: middle, east and west. The main buildings of the middle road include mountain gate, heavenly king hall, main hall, and Zhai. Hall and Vila Pavilion. On the east road, there are the Abbot's Courtyard, Yanqing Pavilion, Shanggong Courtyard, Wanshou Palace and Empress Dowager Palace. There are Lengyan Altar (no longer exists), Jietai and Guanyin Hall on the west road, which are solemn and solemn. In addition, there are Anle Hall and the upper and lower pagoda courtyards located on the hillside outside the mountain gate, as well as the Shaoshi Jingshi, Xiexin Pavilion, Longtan, Imperial Monument, etc. built on the back mountain. There are 71 brick towers or stone towers for burying monks in the pagoda courtyard.

Outside the mountain gate is a wooden archway with 3rd floor and 4 pillars. In front of the archway are two ancient pine trees, with branches and leaves together, like a green ceiling. There are a pair of stone lions in front of the archway, which are majestic and majestic. Passing the archway is a single-hole stone arch bridge, called "Huaiyuan Bridge", and passing the bridge is the mountain gate.

The Heavenly King Hall offers Maitreya statues, Weituo statues on the back, and four statues of the Heavenly Kings about 3 meters high on both sides. The bell and drum towers are on both sides of the Heavenly King Hall, and the main hall is behind it. The treasure hall has five rooms wide, with a double-eaved hip roof, yellow glazed tiles and green edges, the upper eaves are inscribed with "clear and solemn" and the lower eaves are inscribed with "Fuhai Zhuhu Wheel".

There is a giant green glazed cherry at both ends of the main ridge. It is a relic of the Yuan Dynasty and is decorated with long gold-golded chains on it. A huge statue of the Buddha is enshrined in the middle of the hall, with a solemn expression and a backlight behind it. The backlight is carved with Great Roc Golden-winged Bird, Dragon Girl, , lion, elephant, sheep, flame patterns, etc. The Buddha statues are separated from the left and right, " Ananda " and "Gaye" statues, both of which are relics of the Qing Dynasty. Behind the Great Hall is a vegetarian courtyard, which is where monks eat. There are three holy temples behind the hall, but these two halls have been demolished. There are only two sara and two gingko trees left, and the trees are tall. The end point of the central axis is a pavilion-like building named Vilu Pavilion, two-story high and wooden structure. Standing on the Vila Pavilion, looking into the distance, you can see the temple and the distant mountains.
