Now, after several urban development and changes, the Guancheng Cinema, Workers' Sports Field, and Workers' Cultural Palace have been replaced by the Guancheng Cultural Square and more modern cultural facilities in the renovation of the old city.
From the Bubugao residential area in Guancheng in the 1970s to the current No. 1 Vanke Canal East , Evergrande Washington, from the old commercial streets and alleys such as Canal Shopping Mall and Zhenhua Road to the current modern commercial complexes such as Tianhe Department Store and Vanke City Square... More and more modern commercial buildings have risen on this land, more and more new landmarks have entered people's lives, and more and more modern urban atmosphere has been injected into this thousand-year-old ancient city.

"The golden rooster crows on the Phoenix Platform, the city bridge rises in spring and flows east..." Today, the beautiful scenery of the city, Phoenix Platform, sung by generations, is still standing on the cultural square of the people in the city, and looks opposite to the west city tower not far away, forming a new era landscape that complements modernity and history.
