Guangdong Province Xijiang Main Flow Management Project (Zhaoqing Section)--Gaoyao District Section is located in Gaoyao District, Zhaoqing City. The total length of the project remediation embankment section is 20.73 kilometers, and the total construction period is 18 months. The main construction contents of the project include the Lubu to Xiaoxiang section of the main dike of the Xijiang River (management length 9.79 kilometers), the deep pond to upper enclosure section of the main dike of the Xijiang River (management length 6.2 kilometers) and the Dawan section of the main dike of the Xijiang River (management length 4.74 kilometers). The embankment body is cultivated for 12.12 kilometers, the slope protection length 21.74 kilometers, the embankment body is protected by 1.42 kilometers, the embankment body is protected by 9.26 kilometers, the bank protection length 11.09k, kilometers, the retaining wall length 0.3 kilometers, the length of the upper dike slope is 1.73 kilometers, the length of the drainage ditches at the backwater side dike, the length of 1.13 kilometers, the reconstruction of 15 culverts, 7 reinforced culverts and attached soil and water conservation and environmental protection projects.

. Introduction and history of the Great Bay Dike
The "Gaoyao County Chronicles" of the Qing Dynasty Xuantong:
Ming Dynasty In the 31st year of Hongwu (1398), villagers Nie Jingchang and others advocated the construction of the Great Bay Dike (formerly known as Guanwei). It starts from Niugutou at the east entrance of the right bank of Sanrongxia in the north, borders the Xijiang River in the east, and reaches the northern foot of General Mountain in the south. The embankment is 5.35 kilometers long and has 35,600 mu of land protection.
Later, the Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China were affected by the flood of Xilao, and the dam was broken several times and repaired several times.
After the liberation in 1949, the government's water conservancy department also organized manpower and material resources to increase and strengthen it on many occasions. In 1966, the Great Bay Dou was built at the outlet. In the 1980s, the water outlet changed with the drainage channel and moved about 300 meters upstream.
