Settlement in Bangladesh near the border between Myanmar Qin tribe represents the traditional tattoo on the face. To protect their daughter from being kidnapped by neighboring tribes, parents tattooed their young children’s faces to make them unattractive to people from other tribes. This practice has now been banned by the Myanmar authorities.
