Shuiyue Cave is 12 meters high and 10 meters wide. It is not large in area but it brings together the works of famous poets of all dynasties. There are 55 stone carvings in existence. It is the water cave that contains the most historical and cultural stone carvings in the world. Among them, the earliest one was "Shuiyue Cave" engraved by the writer Yuan of the Tang Dynasty. The most famous one is the poem and note of the patriotic poet of the Song Dynasty: "Where is Yuguan Qinghai now?
