Nikon recently announced a new Z 17-28mm f/2.8 lens. Compared with the Z 14-24mm f/2.8 S that have been launched before, the positioning and price are higher, and it is relatively lightweight, so I believe it is very attractive. While releasing this lens, Nikon also updated the roadmap for the Z-mount lens, which included some very surprising aspects.

In addition to some lenses that have not been released in the past, the new circuit diagram has added multiple new focal length lenses, including 70-180mm, 35mm S Line and 135mm S Line. The DX 12-28mm lens, which has been previewed, also revealed that this is a PZ electric zoom lens. From its roadmap, it can be estimated that 70-180mm will be a lens with an aperture of f/2.8. This should be a constant f/2.8 big three-yuan combination with the newly released Z 17-28mm f/2.8 and the earlier launched Z 28-75mm f/2.8. As for the two S Line prime lenses, 35mm f/1.2 and 135mm f/1.8, it should be a very attractive model for professional photographers and users who have high requirements for picture quality. As for the electric zoom DX 12-28mm, although the zoom power is not high and it is a DX format lens, it seems to imply that Nikon may launch some DX format micro-simples with its main video (except for the released Z 30).
