September 25 , hosted by Tongling Federation of Social Sciences and co-organized by the Tongling Culture Research Association, Tongguan District Library and Tongdu Library, "Welcome the Twenty Top 2 Tongdu Beauty·Chinese Love" Tongling City Sculpture Photography Exhibition was held in Tongguan District Library. The exhibition is scheduled for one month. This exhibition is included in the 18th Anhui Province Social Science Knowledge Popularization Activity Month in September 2022.
Tong Culture is Tongling’s city business card. Bronze sculpture is the carrier of urban culture. Since the reform and opening up, more than 200 bronze sculptures have been built in the urban area of our city, including bronze sculptures everywhere on the streets, alleys, parks, and squares. Even some private enterprises have bronze sculptures in their interiors. What’s more special is that the International Bronze Sculpture Art Park has been built. These bronze sculptures not only interpret the city's humanistic history and highlight the style of the times, but also pleasantize citizens' lives and create homesick memories. The 101 photography works exhibited this time are in line with the meaning of echoing and celebrating the 101st anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China.
The exhibits for this photography are all from retired cadres of the Municipal Government Office (Municipal Foreign Affairs Office). Mr. Wei Xingwen, who was a Chinese diplomat and photographer of the Royal British Photography Association. He photographed the city sculptures in Tongling from an international perspective, with a unique perspective, unique insight and unique craftsmanship. He divided the photography exhibits into bronze rhyme, murals, parks, humanities, towns, and streets, allowing the audience to feel the urban charm of copper culture and the heavy beauty of bronze sculptures in the simplicity.
