For more than a month, in order to achieve "zero", the whole province has worked day and night to fight the epidemic side by side; in order to fight the epidemic, all directions have rushed to help, united as one, and overcome difficulties together. I was quite regretful that I couldn't get on the front line due to many reasons such as the need to stick to the rear and be on duty. But this round of epidemic has affected all aspects of Hainan Province, and almost everyone is in it every day. I think as long as you are interested, you can always take pictures with your own perspective.
job tasks are very heavy, time is very small and fragmented, and the range of activities that can be photographed is very small... So what can I take? How to shoot? After thinking about it over and over again, it was the words of the provincial party secretary Shen Xiaoming who inspired me.

aims the lens at ordinary people, and uses the simplest shooting method to systematically record the scenes that they are used to, return to the authenticity of photography, and also let myself return to the sincerity of photography and life, which has become my original intention of this shooting.

Since the outbreak of the epidemic, all walks of life, including medical staff, volunteers, community workers, , traffic police, couriers, etc., have gone against the trend, day and night, and worked tirelessly. Every shot proves that "the masses are the protagonists of epidemic prevention and control". Through the camera, I deeply feel the power of the four words "united as one".
So, in my spare time, I took the theme of "United to the World and Fighting the Epidemic Face" and focused on the "protagonist" of epidemic prevention and control - the general public during the epidemic. During the shooting, I chose a standard focal lens to record the various scenes of people in epidemic prevention and control, and used a medium-length fixed-focus lens to capture their close-up images. When shooting close-up images of people, I intentionally asked them to keep wearing masks in real state. On the one hand, it can ensure that the epidemic prevention requirements are not violated during shooting. On the other hand, I think masks are common symbolic elements in current epidemic prevention and control, and are also social "faces" unique to this historical stage. In the close-up picture, I focus on everyone's eyes. This is the most realistic display window for everyone's heart and a personalized symbol element unique to everyone. In the camera, some people have fatigue at the corners of their eyes, some are so tired that they are darkened, and some are holding tears in their eyes...
