A groundbreaking 8K large-format sensor is added inside the camera, which can also meet the shooting needs of 6K SUPER 35 format, making it more flexible and comfortable. In particular, RED V-RAPTOR XL is compatible with S35-standard lenses and can also shoot images with resolutions above 4K. And it has a brand-new heat dissipation structure, so you can shoot in harsh environments for a long time without any pressure.

In particular, the high-sensitivity image quality has been greatly improved, with rich details in the dark areas and soft highlight transitions. And there are two voltage specifications of 14 volts and 26 volts, which can be selected according to the shooting needs. Of course, functions such as remote camera control and wireless timecode are also indispensable. The efficiency of multi-camera team collaboration shooting is obviously improved. At the same time, the fuselage also integrates XLR audio interface, 3G-SDI, etc., everything you need. The whole thing is relatively compact, weighing only 3.63 kilograms.

However, in addition to the mainstream PL mount, the EF mount is also under development. Only due to the addition of built-in ND, it has been determined that it will miss the RF bayonet. The good news is that RED officials have confirmed that the V-RAPTOR XL S35 format camera is already in the testing phase and will be available to everyone in the near future.
