On the morning of July 8, the China Ya'an Giant Panda Themed Photography Exhibition sponsored by the Ya'an Municipal Culture, Sports and Tourism Bureau kicked off in Chongqing. This photography exhibition will be open for one week from July 8th to July 14th.

Ya'an is the birthplace of the national treasure giant panda, and is also an important part of the world natural heritage Sichuan Giant Panda Habitat core area and Giant Panda National Park. In 1869, the giant panda was scientifically discovered and named in Baoxing County, Ya'an. Since then, a bamboo leaf has set off a craze for giant pandas all over the world. Ya'an has the largest number of giant pandas in the wild and is also the place that provides the largest number of "national gifts" giant pandas.
