Lucien Clegg is the first photographer to be awarded the French Academy of Arts and is also a close friend of Picasso . Lucien Clegg got into photography at the age of 15. Four years later, at a bullfight in Arles, he showed Picasso his photos. Although Picasso was slightly restrained at the time, he made it clear that he wanted to see more of Clegg's works. The two maintained a friendship for nearly 30 years until Picasso's death.
