Recently, when using a cannon to shoot wild birds, I often encounter the need to repeatedly adjust the tripod legs due to the complex terrain in order to achieve an ideal horizontal angle for the cannon to shoot. In the wild, although it is not difficult to adjust the angle, it takes a lot of effort and wastes shooting time, and you will miss some good shooting opportunities.

I was quite surprised when I got the Futu Bao "Adapter Bowl Holder LY-60". This small adapter bowl seat is very heavy, and when you unscrew the lock, the damping of the bowl seat is really smooth and feels very good. It is very convenient to adjust it with the level meter above. I decided to connect the gimbal and the cannon to test whether its damping is equally silky after loading.

And when pursuing upward angles (photographing mountain wagtails) and overhead shots (photographing white-rumped birds), the operation is still appropriate and can be switched at any time. Especially when photographing mountain wagtails from above, I don’t need to adjust the elevation angle of the spherical head to the maximum tilt angle to accurately fix it. Instead, I only need to adjust it to a rough angle, and then use the tilt angle and damping of the LY-60 bowl mouth to fine-tune it in time. ,Very convenient. This is also my favorite feature of this adapter bowl.

I think that whether I am shooting birds of prey flying in the sky, or some forest birds, water birds , the utilization rate of this adapter bowl is very high. Every time I set up the tripod, I will adjust it first. The damping at the mouth of the bowl allows me to switch angles at will when shooting, firmly lock the target, and shoot as much as I want.
